Neurodiversity encompasses a range of neurological variations, including conditions such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and dyslexia. 

Given the current global population (approximately 8.05 billion as of early 2024) and the generally accepted range that 20% of the global population is neurodiverse. 

Projected Global Number of Neurodiverse People by 2050.  This highlights the significant scale and impact of neurodiversity globally, now and into the future.

Based on current diagnostic trends and emerging research, it's predicted that by 2050, women and girls will represent the largest portion of identified neurodiverse individuals globally.

Historically underdiagnosed due to gender biases and differing symptom presentations, increased awareness, improved diagnostic criteria, and more inclusive healthcare practices are expected to significantly boost identification rates among females, resulting in women and girls becoming the predominant demographic within the global neurodiverse population.
